When I was a kid I always thought I would look cool in glasses. Now I’m not a kid anymore and I have to wear glasses. At least I got the kind of glasses that I wanted; historically reminiscent of John Lennon’s; recently reminiscent of Harry Potter. I prefer the John Lennon reference personally.

Granny glasses were in for a while as I recall. And of course the previously mentioned Harry Potter glasses were big when the movie first came out. Some of the styles that Kelly Osbourne and the like are wearing these days supports the theory that the more things change; the more they stay the same. You wouldn’t have been caught dead in glasses like that when I was young. Now you dare not be caught without them. Are there corrective lenses in those glasses? Only their eye doctor knows for sure.
